The graduation ceremony was held at the Dort Event Center in Flint, and it's definitely one graduation I wish I was apart of! Eminem gifted The Flint High School students with some ear candy this year..each got a pair of Beats by Dre headphones!
Before receiving their diploma the students were directed to a Jumbo-tron, where Eminem, who couldn't be there in person, expressed his well wishes to the class of 2017 saying "Whatâs up Class of 2017? This is Eminem. I just want to say congratulations to the graduating seniors of Flint Northwestern, Flint Southwestern, and Flint Accelerated Learning Academy," he said. "Congrats to all your guysâ hard work, man. You earned this moment.â
So awesome! Eminem has previously donated money, water bottles, and whatever he can to help the people of Flint in their current situation, and even though headphones don't necessarily help their situation..it sure did put a smile on their faces & we're so happy to see that he hasn't stopped giving!
