J. Cole's highly anticipated new album dropped last night, K.O.D., and yes..I stayed up to listen to the whole thing!
IDC if you're even a J. Cole fan or not, there's no way you CAN'T vibe to this album. One track that stood out to me was the last one, "1985 (Intro to "The Fall Off"), where I couldn't help but notice he was going off on one of these new age rappers saying he may be poppin & making money now, but ONLY because he's trendy..right now..and as we all know..TRENDS FADE. There's only one person he could be talking about...Lil Pump.
“I heard one of em diss me, I’m surprised/ I ain’t trippin, listen good to my reply/ Come here lil man, let me talk with ya/ See if I can paint for you the larger picture,” Cole raps.
Look. This kid literally has a song called "F*ck J. Cole".
JERMAINE. WENT. OFF.
Yes, he's clearly taking shots (I don't even want to say taking shots because Pump came for him first lol) at Lil Pump on 1985..but this really can also go out to all the new age trash rappers..because they all are doing the same thing lol.
J Cole murdered every mumble rapping, face tatted, ugly dread having SoundCloud rapper on one track 😭🔥🙏🏾 #1985— Manny Rodman🇵🇷 (@MrSix3oh) April 20, 2018
