Many in the community are coming together in this time of need to help out however we can, particularly with MONEY. There are many gofundme accounts set up to help the victims and their families, and Waffle House is also coming forward wanting to help out!
A rep for the company says that they reached out to the families of the victims offering to help any way they can. Waffle House's director of PR, Pat Warner, said the company's CEO & Senror Management team has personally visited the victims and their families to offer condolences and asisstance, even offering to pay for all funeral expenses and medical costs.
Four people were senselessly murdered, and another four injured, when 29 year old Travis Reinking walked into this Antioch Waffle House early Saturday night/Sunday morning with a AR-15 and opened fire. He was tackled down by James Shaw Jr., one of the many faces inside the Waffle House that night and THANK GOD for his presence as many more lives could've been lost had he not been there!
James wrestled the rifle out of the shooters hands, and although he fled the scene, he was later caught by police Monday afternoon in a wooded area near his home.
Sending our condolences, love & light to all the victims and their families.
