MTV announced that it is bringing back Total Request Live which wrapped up its run in 2008. TRL is set to return on Monday, Oct. 2, with the daily live shows at 3:30pm ET from the network's Times Square studio.
TRL is hosted by D.C Young Fly along with the shows "squad" which includes Tamara Dhia, Amy Pham, Erik Zachary, Lawrence Jackson and content creators such as Liza Koshy and The Dolan Twins. The show was enormously popular during its initial run and with the reboot, the network is making significant efforts to snare its young target audience.
MTV announced today that it's first guests on it's TRL reboot will be British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and Atlanta's hip-hop trio Migos.
