NASCAR Owners Say National Anthem Protests Will Not Be Tolerated At Races

With several players in the NFL protesting the National Anthem, Nascar owners made it clear that this will not be tolerated during races.

"Anybody that don't stand up for the anthem oughta be out of the country. Period. What got 'em where they're at? The United States," said Richard Petty, owner of Richard Petty Motorsports, in a statement reported by the Associated Press, also adding that any member of his team would be fired if they chose protest the anthem.
