USDA Increase SNAP Benefits 40 Percent During Pandemic!

Many American families are hurting financially from Coronavirus pandemic. The federal government has found another way to help by increasing SNAP benefits. It was announced this week by Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue, that monthly benefits would increase by 40 percent. This would help "low-income individuals have enough food to feed themselves and their families during this national emergency". With this increase, the average family of 5 would get an additional $240 per month in benefits.
