Arrest Made In California Mystery Movie Theater Shooting Leaving One Dead.


UPDATE: Corona Police Department released a statement today confirming they made and arrested for the mysterious movie theater shooting that took place in Corona, Ca. Joseph Jimenez, was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, and robbery. He was booked at Riverside Presley Detention Center and is being held on a $2,000,000 bail. During the search of the residence, a firearm and additional evidence related to the crime scene were discovered. Police claim the firearm matched the caliber of the weapon used in the murder.

Two teens were found shot inside a Regal Movie Theater at Regal Edwards Corona Crossings in Southern California, Monday evening. Police say an 18-year-old woman, Rylee Goodrich, was shot and killed at the theater, while the 19-year-old male TikTok star Anthony Barajas, was found with life threatening injuries and taken to the hospital. The two were attending a showing for The Forever Purge during the time of the shooting. Gunshots rang out around 11.45pm Monday.

Employees of the theater were only alerted to the shooting following the ending of movie, when an employee found the the teens in the theater. Police do not have witnesses or surveillance footage to indicate any possible suspects. No weapon was found at the scene. Police say six tickets were sold for the movie.
